Suzette Exauria

Malkavian antitribu
Sister of the Shield of Skulls
Description
~A gorgeous blonde in her late teens or early twenties emerges from the shadows. Suzette wears a variety of unique outfits, though rarely is her attire outlandish or weird. A model's long legs are often displayed, whether bared by a skirt or encased in slim slacks. Though Suzette's skin is paler than normal, her features are sculpted naturally. Suzette can boast decent feminine assets, too, though "petite" is an apt description of her physical quality. Long blonde hair sweeps around her smooth, ovaline face. That golden flax frames a contrary expression: her lips embolden with a smirk, while her navy blue eyes float off dreamily. It seems like Suzette is constantly drugged up on codeine, the way she walks and looks and talks. Suzette seems consistently unarmed, except for one of the most dangerous weapons of them all: a camera hangs around her neck.~
OOC: Appearance 4 (dreamy); Style 1; Clan Friendship: Toreador

"Shhh...! There's something I think you should know about your sire: her favorite color..."
History
Youth
Suzette's favorite color was always blue, even a quarter-century ago when she was an infant. Her bedroom was painted blue in her middle-class family home located in Montpelier, Vermont. Her dresses were often blue. And it wasn't that she was a tomboy. Suzette just liked blue. She was a pretty girl, effeminate in all the ways her parents liked. She grew up enjoying her retained family traditions, including a second language of French. Despite Suzette's popularity throughout school, however, she was always a moody girl. "Passive-aggressive" was how her friends and schoolmates defined Suzette. That unpredictable behavior was occasionally complimented by pubescent outbursts. Of course, all of this was chalked up to typical teenage origins: hormones, PMS, et cetera. And it was likely that that really was all it was. Society tended to overanalyze behavior sometimes, but they got it right when they called it on Suzette. She had no more emotional problems than the average teenage girl.
Of course, Suzette wasn't quite average. She had lovely features once she reached sixteen years old. Her long-legged stature and golden hair combined with a decent sense of style gave her modeling opportunities. She didn't just use her looks and popularity to win homecoming queen! Suzette posed for a few advertisements while building her portfolio with the aid of her photographer and boyfriend, a young man named Charlie. She even learned a bit of artistic photography from Charlie. Her interest in the camera seemed to suggest she would pursue it in college. But after she graduated high school, she disappointed her parents and older sister by avoiding higher education. Instead, she left Charlie behind in Montpelier and jumped on a modeling tour. Suzette and a dozen other young models traveled cross-country, visiting cities in the US and Canada. Numerous photo shoots occupied Suzette's waking hours -- when she wasn't in front of the camera, she was preparing for it.
Not that Suzette didn't have leisure time. She had plenty after dusk and occupied herself partying with her fellow models. Those parties were rife with sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll. They often crashed frat parties in local universities, though they were welcome guests! Hot, drunk white girls? Hell, yes. Suzette became a complete lush, and her interest in pursuing any kind of career as a photographer was forgotten.
The Change
But her life altered dramatically in 1999 when her group shot in Montreal. After their shoots, they hit a big party in a downtown warehouse. All sorts of drugs were being passed out all over the place. Suzette found herself throwing back a whole bottle of cough medicine with a bit of X and a few lines of coke. Next thing she knew, she was on her back, half-conscious, as some chick sucked at her throat. The best drug she felt yet was Cassandra's Kiss. Right then and there, Cassandra Reine Embraced Suzette Exauria.
Then the dazed fledgling was dragged from the club and buried in a cemetery. She dug her way out, laughing hoarsely, mind reeling and wild with flowing thoughts she couldn't pin down. Whatever happened to her, this was the best high yet! Fortunately, Cassandra was still there for her. She informed Suzette of what she had become, and showed her the ropes of being a vampire. She introduced Suzette to other Cainites. She told her what it meant to be Sabbat and why she picked her: Suzette had skill, ambition, and beauty. Cassandra showed her portfolio of her own. Within were photographs of numerous vampires, and each had a Clan name listed beneath. And Cassandra told Suzette to pick what Clan she thought she was based on those photographs' suggestions. And when Suzette picked Toreador, Cassandra laughed. Suzette laughed, too. It must have been funny, but Suzette was insistent. She picked her clan and that's all there was to it. Not even Cassandra could convince her otherwise: not that Cassandra tried. Still, this new life seemed awfully strange. So many emotions, so many extremes, now flowed through Suzette. She could barely heed the world around her.
Membering Cassandra's pack, the Crimson Thorns of Villeray, Suzette proved to be a poor fighter. But she was an excellent spy and subverter. Her natural outgoing talents influenced her Discipline mastery, and she found herself able to persuade others to embrace the feelings running so strong through her soul now. Of course, those feelings occasionally went off on wild extremes. There were nights when she felt like watching the sun come up. And there were evenings where she felt like Embracing everyone she encountered, when she felt like singing and dancing and fucking and drinking blood until she couldn't stand up. Fortunately for her, she couldn't risk blood intoxicated with drugs. Her OD just prior the Embrace made her physiology especially vulnerable to that stuff, and had even ruined her voice. She could barely speak without sounding like she just drank a bottle of maple syrup. Despite these facts, Suzette never went off on the deep end. Cassandra helped keep her in check, and she seemed to be a lot saner. Suzette couldn't guess what madness ailed her sire if asked: it was clearly a subtle psychosis.
More Change
And both Suzette and Cassandra were clearly valuable if unpredictable assets to their pack, which consisted otherwise solely of fighters from the Brujah and (city) Gangrel Clans. The Cardinal ordered their pack to eventually move aggressively against Milwaukee, Michigan in 2004. They crossed the border and entered the city. They assassinated certain Kindred, and Suzette helped by tricking their targets into leaving themselves vulnerable to attack. With other Sabbat's actions, the Camarilla of the city was brought to its knees.
However, only a month later, the enemy sent in Archons. These powerful fighters drove the Sabbat packs back. Their deadly counter-offensives destroyed many Sabbat; the Crimson Thorns were shattered. Suzette watched in horror as Cassandra was separated from her head. She fled in fear, retreating to the south rather than returning to Montreal. As she traveled, she stopped in various Midwest cities, including Chicago, Cincinnati, and St. Louis. There she used her skills and charm to good effect on the local Camarilla, ingratiating herself as a happy-go-lucky Toreador visiting cultural centers. She stayed briefly -- never more than a week, just long enough to feed, before moving on. Eventually, her voyage brought her to western Missouri. She popped by Kansas City, but found no presence of Sabbat as she expected. Rumor had it among the Anarchs she spoke with that Centropolis was besieged, however. She traveled to this smaller city and discovered the diocese. Hurrah! She was starting to get blue out there all alone…

Weakness
Nuckin' Futz
She's Malkavian antitribu. Nuff said.
Likelihood of Corruption
Very high.
Poor Suzette: what you don't know can kill you. And while she isn't a monster like some Sabbat, she's still Sabbat. She's exposed to their villainy every night.
